FOLLOWING THE FLOW OF ENERGY

Hitting the road again....heading to Oakland, CA and then Grass Valley, CA.

Everywhere that I travel, people are always very supporting of me and the journey that I have chosen to be on for this part of my life....with all of its up's and down's. Thank you!

It's a long drive from AZ to Oakland...about 15 hours. However after getting a late start (a picnic in Madera Canyon, not to have been missed:) I decided to test the waters of travel. If there was a possibility for me to spend the night in Huntington Beach, I'd head directly west to San Diego. Otherwise, I'd head north to Bakersfield.

Yes, to HB and so I drove across I-8 to San Diego. Following the guidance of my GPS, (which I don't always do) I found myself headed to Ramona and Santee (suburbs) which would then connect with I-805. It was unfamiliar territory for me, it was dark, and so it was unusual for me to follow the advice of my GPS.

Ramona was a place we used to visit a lot as we were kids. I had an uncle who lived there. We thought it was on another planet...it was so remote. My ex-husbands sister used to live in Santee. As I was driving up over the hill to get I-805, I began feeling what I refer to as panty-twisting. An extreme energy surge filled my body. What's this about?  I began to ground myself, stay in my body and started deep, slow, conscious breathing. I remained asked the question to my guidance, "Is there anything that I need to know?

I knew that I had been led by Spirit, in this area for whatever reason. I knew it to be an energetic healing of some sort. I also know that on this journey that I have chosen, I am on a need to know basis! I knew that I didn't need to spend time trying to figure it out. All that was required of me was the willingness to follow the flow of energy, consciously bringing love and light with me wherever I go.

I'm thankful that I do have the courage to continue into the unknown and discover what God/The Universe has out there for me to uncover!  When you pay attention in your life...where is Spirit leading you? Where are you taking your love and light? I'm in great company!!!!

PS. Now I'm in Grass Valley, CA.

GIVING EVERYONE, INCLUDING OURSELVES, PERMISSION TO EXPERIENCE GOD IN THEIR OWN WAY!

A few years back I was driving across country with one of my daughters and I had written about the experience.

As we arrive at the Dakotas, as sacred to the Native Americans as the Holy Land is to Christians, I notice the young Indians rebel against the ways of their elders as many Christians rebel against theirs the same way many children rebel against their family traditions.

It’s natural; it’s normal; it’s how we learn; it’s how we grow.

The similarities in the Lakota Ceremonies and the Christian Rites are amazing to me.

I think God – One God – One Creator – One Universe, One Great Mystery, One Holy Spirit, One Great Spirit – One Wakentanka…but as many ways to worship as there are people in the world. (One Great Mystery, beyond all understanding)

If a person’s life experience has turned them from one form of honor and worship, there is always another waiting to be discovered. For me today, out in the open, in the beauty and the Wind of the Spirit, I listen to John Denver’s Eagles and Horses and I realize…that I have been to church.

This holiday season, find your individual way of worship, giving thanks and co-creating life by dreaming BIG, with the Creator of your understanding!

Second Question...What would you do if it weren't about money?

Continuing with the last blog, asking myself these two questions truly reveal what the heart and soul long for. So here is my example of the second question I always ask myself.

2. What would you do if it weren't about money?

My example:

If it weren't about money I'd take these 2 classes ($2,000 each).

Well, guess what, God said, "Well, Pati, it's not about money, you can sell your car!" "Are you flippin' kidding me? Sell my car? How in the hell do you expect me to get by without a car? Oh, and by the way...I love my car? Don't you remember, it's the one you gave me a couple of years ago...you're an Indian giver!" God replied, "The one I gave you when you needed a car, now you don't need a car, you're leaving on a vision quest, a car will just be a burden to you, let it go, pass it along."

Well, being the faithful God that he is...he even showed me how to get along without a car! The very next morning after my panty twist of "how do you expect me to get by without a car?"
on my email was a girl I had answered a Craig's list request for a ride from the airport to town. She paid $15 an hour plus gas. It was God, "There, I'll even show you how to get by without a car. You ask others, use public transit, it's a piece of cake!"

People may wonder if I lost all my marbles. But I have decided to spend my money on me and the growth of my soul, living this life to the fullest, after all, it's the only thing we take with us.

I told a friend about the car, we came to an agreement, I signed up for the classes and the Vision Quest, begins!

Now believe me, all this change does not come without it's growth (pain) as well. But it's ok.

So let me ask you again...What would you do if it weren't about money?

Happy trails.....
